Frost Back Next Season, Agrees to Restructured Contract

Nebraska football coach Scott Frost will be back for a fifth season.

Huskers athletic director Trev Alberts announced today that Frost has agreed to a restructured contract.  Alberts said Frost “has laid out a clear plan and vision for the future of Nebraska football.”

Frost said he appreciates the confidence Alberts has shown in him and said NU’s immediate focus is the final two games this season against Wisconsin and Iowa, giving the Huskers an opportunity to build momentum heading into the offseason and 2022.  He also admitted: “I understand we have not won at a high enough level, but I am confident our football program will continue to take steps forward.”
