Frigid Temps, Threat of Power Loss Impacts Subdistrict Slate

Today’s frigid temperatures and the threat of power outages impacted the girls basketball subdistrict tournament at Scotus.

The C1-7 semifinals have been pushed back from tonight until tomorrow and there are other changes.  It will start an hour earlier than expected, with Scotus now set to host Boone Central at 5 p.m. and Lakeview vs. David City to follow at 6:45 p.m.  Both games will now be aired on 93.5 The Hawk, rather than on KZ-100 as originally planned.  The subdistrict final is set for 6 p.m. on KLIR 101.

Meantime, the girls C2-7 subdistrict tourney will still open tonight on 93.5 The Hawk.  Shelby-Rising City visits Centennial at 5:45 p.m., followed by Aquinas vs. Cross County in the 7:30 p.m. nightcap at Utica.  That subdistrict final is slated for 6:30 p.m. Thursday and will be aired on The Hawk.
