Koty Frank and two relievers combined on a one-hitter to lead Nebraska baseball to a 1-0 win over BYU last night.
Frank had a no-hitter broken up in the seventh inning when he allowed a two-out single. At that point, Tyler Martin came out of the bullpen. He wound up getting the win by pitching one-and-a-third innings and seeing the Huskers score the game’s only run in the bottom of the seventh. Braxton Bragg pitched a perfect ninth inning to pick up his third save.
Nebraska is now 13-18. The two teams will meet in a doubleheader today at Haymarket Park, starting at 2 p.m.
