Eight-Man Football Playoffs Kick Off Today

The high school football playoffs kick off today in eight-man football.  You can hear play-by-play of three games on Alpha Media radio stations. 

That includes a doubleheader from Humphrey on 93.5 The Hawk and a night contest in Stromsburg on KZ-100.  In the D1 playoffs, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family hosts Lourdes Central Catholic at 3:30, followed on the Hawk by a D2 contest between St. Francis and Niobrara/Verdigre that kicks off at 7 p.m.  On KZ-100, Clarkson/Leigh visits Cross County for a 7 p.m. clash in D1. 

Other area D1 teams in action include Howells-Dodge going to West Point to meet GACC, while Nebraska Christian entertains Hemingford.  In D2 action, Osceola hosts Pender, Fullerton visits Falls City Sacred Heart and Riverside welcomes Ansley-Litchfield.
