Discoverers Softball Ends Skid With Big Win

In prep softball, Columbus High snapped a six-game losing streak with an 11-0 romp over Lincoln High at Bradshaw Park last night.
Emma Riedmiller pitched a four-inning, complete game shutout, allowing two hits and no walks, with five strikeouts. Jordyn Trotta had three hits and scored three runs, while Lindsay Ohnoutka had two hits, three RBI and scored a run.
The Discoverers are 3-6 and will play in the Norfolk Invite on Saturday.
