Discoverers Girls Win, Boys Downed at Hastings

Molly Goc scored 14 points to help the Columbus High girls basketball team to a 52-33 victory at Hastings.
Anisten Barnett had 10 points and Jordyn Trotta added nine for the Discoverers in last night’s makeup game, which had been postponed last Thursday. The Discoverers improved to 6-9.
In the boys contest, Columbus fell to the Tigers 55-41. Despite Griffin Micek’s game-high 19 points, the Discoverers’ suffered their fourth loss in five games and slipped to 5-9.
Both Columbus clubs will visit Lincoln High on Thursday.
