Discoverers Fall to Silver Hawks; Prep Football Tonight

Columbus High’s football team was held to a touchdown for a second straight home game last night, as the Discoverers were downed by Lincoln Southwest 29-7. CHS slipped to 1-2 on the season.
Columbus will travel to Omaha next week to face the North Vikings for a second straight Thursday night game that will again be aired on KLIR 101.
Tonight, Scotus will host Pierce in a battle of 1-0 teams on KZ-100. Bulldog bragging rights are on the line as Osceola visits Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family on 93.5 The Hawk. Lakeview will play its home opener against Boys Town.
The Hawk Scoreboard Show is tonight at 10:30 on KKOT, while the Pinnacle Bank Coaches Show airs Saturday at 9 a.m. on KLIR 101.
