DC Tony White: Focus Now on Competition and Operation

Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White said the beginning of fall camp is about “daily competition.”
After yesterday’s practice, White said the coaches “want to reward guys who do it the right way and do it well.” Even when asked specifically about the Huskers’ pass rush, White stuck to the basics: “Right now, it’s more operation…let’s operate the right way, let’s get them to know how to run to the ball, play with dominant contact, play with Husker speed and get them going.”
The Huskers will open the season on Thursday, August 31st at Minnesota.
