CU Baseball Opens Shortened Series vs. ‘Nova Tonight

The baseball clubs from Creighton and Villanova mutually agreed yesterday to shorten their weekend series in Omaha to three games.
It was originally slated to be a four-game set, but will now feature a single contest instead of a doubleheader tomorrow.
CU says the change came as a result of an abundance of caution regarding the minimum number of available players recommended to compete due to COVID-19 protocols.
The series opens at TD Ameritrade Park tonight with a 6:30 p.m. first pitch.
