Columbus Seniors Lose, Juniors Win American Legion Opener

The Cornerstone Insurance Group Columbus Seniors were held to five hits in a 13-1 loss to Hastings in their season opener last night at Pawnee Park.
Grant Zoucha delivered a sacrifice fly and Quenton Gustafson had two hits for Columbus.
In the first contest, the OneUnited Federal Credit Union Columbus Junior Blues beat Hastings 7-4. Jack Holys was 3-for-3 with one RBI and two runs and Charlie Larson went 3-for-3 and drove in two runs for the Junior Blues.
The Columbus Seniors will host the Cornerstone Classic this weekend, beginning tomorrow night.
