Columbus, David City Holiday Hoops Tourneys on the Air

The 50th annual Columbus Chamber Holiday basketball tournament opens today at Scotus.
Four games will be broadcast on KLIR 101. Lakeview takes on Schuyler in a girls/boys doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Scotus meets Twin River in a girls/boys twinbill that tips off at 4:30 p.m.
On 93.5 The Hawk, rivals David City and Aquinas Catholic square off on the first day of the David City holiday tourney. The action starts at 4 p.m. with the girls contest.
Both tournaments’ championship games will be aired on the same Alpha Media stations tomorrow.
