CHS Swimming Falls to GI, Two Discoverers Win Races

The Columbus High swimming team dropped a home dual against Grand Island on Thursday.
The Discoverers girls fell to the Islanders 119-48, while the boys were downed 126-37.
Two CHS swimmers had first-place finishes. Jonathan Reiff won the boys 200-yard freestyle and earned his fourth state cut. Mary Faltys won the girls 100-yard breaststroke.
