CHS Swim Teams Both Earn Second at GNAC Meet

The Columbus High boys and girls swimming teams both recorded runner-up finishes at Saturday’s GNAC meet in Hastings. 

The Discoverers girls were edged by Hastings 291-287 for the conference title in the five-team meet. The CHS boys had 291 points, 108 less than the champion Tigers. 

Columbus coach Alyssa Dillon says the girls set 20 new season-best times, while the boys had 19.
