CHS Girls Golf Qualifies as a Team For State Tournament

The Columbus High girls golf team qualified for the Class A state tournament by finishing in the top three of the the A-2 district tourney at Elks Country Club yesterday.
The Discoverers carded a team score of 394 to finish third. Sarah Lasso and Molly Goc of CHS both finished in the top 10 individually. Lasso shot an 80 to finish second, while Goc carded a 94 and earned eighth place.
The state tournament will be held at Norfolk Country Club next Monday and Tuesday.
