Carter: Go Big Facilities Project is Taking Shape, On Schedule

Fans going to Memorial Stadium for Husker football games this fall will notice the Go Big facilities project, which UNL President Ted Carter says is taking shape on the north side of the stadium.

“It’s coming out of the ground. It will be obvious what it’s going to start to look like,” Carter said. “We still have the same challenges like every homeowner does, knowing how to get kitchen appliances and some of the kitchen stuff, and we’ll get there.  But, it’s on schedule to finish next year.”

Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts announced in April that the project, originally budgeted at $150-million, was approved by the NU Board of Regents to now cost $160-million.
