The boys state basketball tournament opens in Lincoln today.

Attendance will be limited to the varsity players and coaches, team support personnel, the participating schools’ administrators and their immediate families. The NSAA announced the decision yesterday in response to the spread of the coronavirus.

Humphrey St. Francis fans can follow the Flyers’ games on KLIR 101, while fans of Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, Fullerton and St. Paul can listen on 93.5 The Hawk. The audio of all high school games is also streamed live at mycentralnebraska.com.

Today’s quarterfinals include two with 9 a.m. tipoffs: unbeaten and top-seeded St. Francis meets Randolph in the D2 tourney on KLIR and in C1 St. Paul takes on number 1 seed Adams Central on The Hawk.  At 2 p.m., H/LHF battles Fullerton in a D1 contest on 93.5 FM.
