Columbus High’s basketball teams played for third place on Saturday in their final GNAC tournament. 

The Discoverers boys rolled to a 57-38 win over McCook, as CHS improved to 5-4. The Columbus girls fell to Hastings 45-40, dropping the Discoverers’ record to 3-7. 

In the boys’ championship at CHS, Hastings defeated Scottsbluff 60-52. The girls’ title went to North Platte, a 64-54 winner over Scottsbluff.

Columbus will play in the Heartland Athletic Conference next year.
