Bowen Has Big Game, But Discoverers Get Swept by Fremont

Columbus High’s softball team lost both ends of a doubleheader to Fremont Monday at Bradshaw Park.
The Discoverers fell to the rival Tigers by scores of 13-10 and 4-2. In the 13-10 slugfest, Kyra Bowen led CHS by going 3-for-4 with five RBI and two runs. She was a home run shy of hitting for a cycle.
Columbus is 9-10 and will play a twinbill at Lincoln Southwest tomorrow.
