Both Bluejays Hoops Teams Pick Up Home Wins

Both Creighton basketball teams posted home wins on Saturday.
The Bluejays men used a 6-0 run in the final 30 seconds to get by Villanova 66-61. CU improved to 15-8 on the season and moved into a tie for third place in the Big East standings at 9-3.
Meanwhile, the Jays women defeated St. John’s 81-65. Creighton is now 16-6 overall and 10-4 in conference action.
