Baseball: NU Opens Season, CU Helps Open UNO’s Ballpark

In college baseball today, Nebraska opens its season while Creighton will help open Nebraska-Omaha’s new ballpark. 

The Huskers will play Purdue in a four-game series at Dell Diamond Stadium in Round Rock, Texas. 

The Bluejays open a three-game set against the Mavericks at UNO’s new Tal Anderson Field.  It’s part of a $23.5 million baseball-softball complex on Center Street near Aksarben Village.
