Baseball: Huskers Go 2-1, Jays 1-2 on the Weekend

In college baseball, Nebraska concluded its weekend in Minneapolis with a 14-5 loss to fourth-ranked Ole Miss on Sunday. 

The Huskers had opened the Cambria College Classic with a 5-3 victory over No. 7 Vanderbilt, before downing Hawaii 12-3.  NU is now 5-4-1. 

Meanwhile, Creighton fell at Cal State Northridge 4-3 in yesterday’s series finale.  The Bluejays had won the series opener 7-6, before being out-slugged 12-8 on Saturday. 

CU is 4-5 on the season.
