In women’s college basketball on Sunday, Nebraska suffered a 74-73 loss at Illinois.
The Huskers wound up the regular season 19-10 overall and 11-7 in the Big Ten. NU earned the No. 5 seed in the conference tournament and will open play in the second round Thursday at 2 p.m.
Meanwhile, Creighton recorded a 72-65 win at Seton Hall. The No. 23 Bluejays finished the regular season at 24-4, 15-3 in the Big East. The Jays will next play in the conference quarterfinals on Saturday.
