Scotus Soccer Sweeps Lakeview, Subdistricts Seeded

In prep soccer Thursday, Emma Brezenski scored four goals and Tanner Schultz added three, leading Scotus to a 10-0 victory over Lakeview at CCC. 

The Shamrocks earned their 10th shutout and finished the regular season 10-3.  The Vikings wound up at 4-6.  In Monday’s girls subdistrict, Scotus is seeded No. 1, while Lakeview is third and Schuyler is No. 2. 

In boys action, the Shamrocks beat their rivals 3-1.  The Shamrocks improved to 7-6, while the Vikings went 0-11 in the regular season. 

Both boys teams will play in Monday’s subdistrict at No. 1 Schuyler.  Fourth-seeded Lakeview will face the Warriors, while No. 2 Scotus meets No. 3 Seward.
