White: Mixing Expected Starters in With Young Players Shows Leaders

Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White met with the media following the Huskers’ spring practice Tuesday.
He said the early practices have been a good mix of keeping the expected starters together sometimes and other times seeing how they lead younger players.
“You know where everybody’s mixed in with everybody now you get to see who’s going to lead a group,” White said. “It’s just a matter of us (coaches) being really consistent with making sure they (players) know what the standard is, right?”
Spring practice continues today and will culminate with the Red-White Spring game on Saturday, April 27th.
