Weekend Baseball: Huskers Lose Twice, Bluejays Get Swept

In college baseball, Nebraska dropped a 3-1 decision at Minnesota on Sunday. 

The Huskers went 1-2 against the Gophers this weekend.  NU is 19-27 overall and 7-11 in the Big Ten.  The Huskers will open a three-game series at Illinois on Friday. 

Meanwhile, Creighton fell at Connecticut 6-5 yesterday.  The Bluejays were swept in the series by the 15th-ranked Huskies, with three contests decided by a combined four runs.  The Jays are 25-15, including a 10-5 Big East mark. 

Creighton will host the Omaha Mavericks tomorrow night.
