Wan’Dale’s Magic Earns Weekly Honor

Wan’Dale Robinson was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week today. 

Robinson accounted for 186 all-purpose yards in the Huskers’ 13-10 win over Northwestern last Saturday.  He rushed for 44 yards on seven carries, highlighted by a 42-yard touchdown run. He added a career-high seven receptions for 123 yards, including a 33-yard grab in the final minute to set up Lane McCallum’s game-winning field goal as time expired. 

It’s the second time in three weeks that Robinson has earned the freshman honor.
