Volleyball: Vikings Split, Shamrocks Bow, Cougars Rally

Lakeview’s volleyball team went 1-1 in a triangular at Norfolk Catholic last night.
The Vikings fell to the host Knights 2-0, but downed Wayne in two sets. Lakeview is 9-3 and will compete in Saturday’s Aurora Invite.
Meanwhile, Scotus was swept in three sets at Battle Creek. The Shamrocks slipped to 10-6. Scotus will host Lincoln Christian tomorrow night.
In the match aired last night on 93.5 The Hawk, Cross County won at David City 3-2. The Cougars rallied to beat the Scouts 9-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-18, 15-9.
