Volleyball: Huskers’ Rodriguez, Bluejays’ Sis Earn Weekly Awards

In college volleyball, Nebraska libero Lexi Rodriguez was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.
It’s the second time this season and the fifth time in her career that the Huskers junior has received the honor.
Creighton’s Nora Sis earned the Big East Offensive Player of the Week award. For the Bluejays junior, it’s also her second such honor of the fall and fifth time in her career.
In the latest AVCA Poll, Nebraska remains at No. 1, while Creighton fell two spots to 17th despite recording a pair of 3-0 wins last week.
