Volleyball: Columbus Edged at LNS, Scotus Goes 1-1 Thursday

The Columbus High volleyball team fell in five sets at Lincoln North Star last night. 

The Discoverers lost 25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 13-25, 12-15.  Addi Johnson led CHS with 20 kills. 

It was the fourth straight defeat for Columbus, which is now 2-6. 

Meanwhile, Scotus went 1-1 in a tournament at Malcolm.  The Shamrocks defeated Fairbury 2-1, winning 23-25, 25-14, 25-13.  But, Scotus lost to Elmwood Murdock 2-1, with the scores being 18-25, 25-7, 18-25. 

No individual stats are available for Scotus, which is now 2-5.
