Veterans Appreciation Nights Begin Tonight at Pawnee Park Field

The American Legion Post in Columbus is holding the first of three Veterans Appreciation Nights at Pawnee Park Field tonight.
The Cornerstone Seniors will play a doubleheader against Gretna, with first pitch of Thursday’s opener set for 5:30 p.m. Veterans and their families will receive free admission, a free popcorn and a drink. Hartman Post 84 will also be honoring all veterans and baseball players who have family members that are military veterans with a certificate of appreciation.
The other Veterans Nights are set for next Monday and Tuesday.
