Veik of CCC Women’s Basketball Earns National Honor

CCC freshman Brittney Veik has been named the NJCAA Division II Basketball Player of the Week. 

Veik averaged 19 points and 8.3 assists per game in three contests last week.  In the Raiders’ win at York JV last Friday, she recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists. 

Veik’s honor marks the first time since the 2016-17 season that a Central women’s basketball player has claimed the award.
