Tuesday Hoops: Shamrocks Split, Vikings Get Swept

In high school hoops Tuesday night, Scotus split at North Bend Central. 

The Shamrocks boys beat the Tigers 53-46.  The fourth straight win upped the ‘Rocks record to 10-4.  The Scotus girls fell 40-28 and are also 10-4 on the season.  The Shamrocks clubs are scheduled to host Boone Central tomorrow night on KZ-100. 

Meanwhile, Lakeview’s teams both suffered close home losses to Milford.  Despite 12 points from Max Fremarek, the Vikings boys were downed 36-32.  Lakeview slipped to 4-11.  The Vikings girls were edged 30-27.  Lakeview’s sixth loss in seven games left them at 7-8.

Both Vikings squads will visit Schuyler on Friday.
