In the boys hoops C2-4 subdistrict opener Monday, Twin River got by Shelby-Rising City 51-47.
The Titans are back at Cross County tonight to take on the top-seeded Cougars. It tips off at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the other subdistrict semifinal between Aquinas and Centennial. You can hear both contests on 93.5 The Hawk.
Other boys subdistrict tourney scores last night: St. Paul over Centura 56-50, Clarkson/Leigh doubled-up Stanton 64-32, East Butler fell to Lourdes Central Catholic 56-45, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family topped Cedar Bluffs 62-40, Fullerton beat Neligh-Oakdale 54-34 and Palmer over Elba 47-36.
