Times, Coaches Set For Big Red Blitz’ Area Stops

Nebraska has announced details for next week’s Big Red Blitz. Ten groups of Husker coaches will visit with fans in 20 cities, including Columbus and David City on Wednesday, June 16th.
The free event in Columbus has been set for noon at Frankfort Square. The group will visit the Butler County Fairgrounds at 4 p.m. Speakers at those two events include two NU football coaches: defensive coordinator Erik Chinander and quarterbacks coach Mario Verduzco, as well as women’s basketball head coach Amy Williams.
NU says capacity is limited for each event, so fans will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional details about the events, presented by FNBO are now posted on the Huskers’ Facebook page.
