Three Area Coaches Honored for 2021-22 School Year

Three area coaches are among 23 in Nebraska who have been named coaches of the year for the 2021-2022 school year.
The NSAA and a national organization announced the honors in a news release last night. Howells-Dodge football coach Mike Spiers, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family boys basketball coach Joe Hesse and North Bend Central girls basketball coach Aaron Sterup earned the recognition.
The coaches will be honored during halftime of the Class A girls state basketball semifinal on March 3rd, 2023 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
