State Softball: Bison Go 1-1, Aquinas Loses Opener on Wednesday

Central City went 1-1 in the first day of the Class C state softball tournament yesterday in Hastings.
In the opener, the No. 2 seed Bison cruised to a 15-3 victory in three innings over Freeman. But on Wednesday afternoon, Central City fell to Bishop Neumann 5-4.
Fifth-seeded Aquinas suffered an 8-0 loss in five innings to Ashland-Greenwood yesterday.
