Spring Game: Rhule Wants to See Good Football Unlike Last Year

Nebraska football’s spring practice season wraps up Saturday with the annual Red-White Spring Game.

Coach Matt Rhule says he’s looking for a high standard of performance by his players.  “It can’t be like last year where you play well for a while and then you start fumbling the ball around,” Rhule said.  “If it’s ugly, then we didn’t accomplish what we wanted to accomplish this spring, right?  So, I’m expecting us to play really good football.”

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 11 a.m.  The pregame starts at 9 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and 93.5 The Hawk.
