Softball: Vikings Done, Discoverers Swept

In prep softball, Lakeview’s season ended yesterday with a pair of losses in the B-7 subdistrict tournament at York. 

The Vikings were clobbered by the top-seeded Dukes 17-3 and were downed by GICC 13-1. Lakeview ended the season at 3-24. 

Columbus High dropped a pair of regular season games at Grand Island last night. The Discoverers lost by scores of 10-2 and 9-1. 

CHS is 3-27 and is seeded number 4 in the A-3 district tournament at Omaha Marian. Columbus will open that tourney by playing fifth-seeded Omaha Bryan tomorrow morning.
