Softball: Columbus and Lakeview Both Win Thursday

In prep softball, Columbus High won a slugfest against Bellevue East 14-13.
The Discoverers scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to post the walk-off win. Columbus is now 4-3.
Lakeview beat Blue River 12-4. The Vikings trailed 1-0 before scoring eight runs in the bottom of the third and sealed the victory with four runs in the fifth.
Lakeview evened its record at 3-3, while the David City-area team is 3-8.
