In Senior Legion area tournaments on Tuesday, Central City’s Cinderella run in B5 action ended.
The No. 6 seed, needing to beat third-seeded York twice yesterday to win the area title and make state, lost 7-6 as York completed a 5-0 tourney run.
In C1, another No. 6 seed, Wisner-Pilger/Howells-Dodge was downed at Hartington 9-5 as the host and top seed went 4-0 in that tournament.
And in C7, PWG needed two wins over Imperial, but fell 5-2 as Imperial posted a 5-0 tourney record.
