Silver Downs Green in CCC Prep All-Star Volleyball Match

Lauren Vandenberg of David City High had 17 kills and two ace serves, leading the Silver to a 3-1 victory over the Green in the annual prep all-star volleyball match at CCC last night. Scores of the match were 25-13, 25-16, 11-25, 25-15.
Cortlyn Schaefer of Cross County added 12 kills for the Silver, while her Cougars teammate Erica Stratman led the Green with eight kills and three solo blocks.
Addi Duranski had two aces for the winners and her Columbus High teammate Sadie Evans posted six kills in the loss. Clarkson/Leigh’s Cassidy Hoffman of the Green also had a half-dozen kills.
