Scroggin Brings Lawsuit vs. Love, Others Still at NU

Former Nebraska women’s basketball player Ashley Scroggin has filed a lawsuit in the wake of an alleged sexual relationship with former assistant coach Chuck Love.

In the suit filed in federal court, Scroggin alleges head coach Amy Williams and athletic director Trev Alberts did not take appropriate action when the relationship became widely known.  In addition to Williams and Roberts, the lawsuit names Love and NU’s Board of Regents as defendants.

The university said it disagreed with the allegations and would defend itself.  Williams declined to comment to the Associated Press.
