Scotus Volleyball Rallies From 2-0 Hole Again to Win Subdistrict

Scotus volleyball, seeded fourth going into this week’s C1-6 subdistrict tournament, rallied for a second straight night Tuesday to win the tourney.
In Tuesday’s subdistrict final, the Shamrocks beat David City 19-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-23, 15-8. Scotus was led by Joanna Rusher who had ten kills and five blocks.
The Shamrocks, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit to knock off host Lakeview on Monday, are now 11-17. They are in Saturday’s C-1 district finals for the first time since 2018, the last time Scotus qualified for state.
