Scotus, Lakeview Girls Play Tonight; Last Night’s Winners
After being postponed last night, the Scotus and Lakeview girls basketball clubs will open postseason play tonight.
In the C1-7 subdistrict tournament, the host Shamrocks battle Boone Central at 5 p.m., followed by the Vikings against David City at 6:45 p.m. You can hear both games on 93.5 The Hawk.
Tomorrow’s 6 p.m. subdistrict final will be broadcast on KLIR 101.
In last night’s C2-7 subdistrict tourney, Shelby-Rising City lost at host Centennial 63-22 and Cross County topped Aquinas 44-21.
The Cougars face the Broncos in the subdistrict final tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
Other area girls teams that posted subdistrict wins Tuesday night: Clarkson/Leigh, Fullerton, Howells-Dodge, Humphrey St. Francis, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, Nebraska Christian, North Bend Central, Osceola, Riverside, St. Paul and Twin River.
