Scotus Girls Soccer Downed in Shootout at State Tourney

The Scotus girls soccer club was eliminated from the Class B state tournament in tonight’s opening round at Morrison Stadium.

The Shamrocks fell to Lincoln Lutheran/Raymond Central 3-0 in a shootout after neither team was able to find the back of the net through regulation or in either of two overtime periods.

Scotus finished the season with a record of 13-5, while the Warriors advanced to the semifinals with a mark of 13-3.
