Scotus Girls Soccer Coach Sees Great Potential in Young Team

There are no seniors on the roster for the Scotus girls soccer team this spring, but coach Kristie Brezenski thinks her club has great potential.

The Shamrocks will open the season Friday with a match at Bennington.  Scotus went 14-3 last season, losing in the first round of the girls state soccer tournament to Omaha Mercy in two overtimes.

This season’s team will be led by juniors Emma Brezenski and Izzie Kadavy.  In their careers, Brezenski has compiled 44 goals and 17 assists while Kadavy has 32 goals and 12 assists.
