Rhule Says Huskers Are Motivated to Win on Friday

Nebraska’s football team is preparing to host Iowa in the Huskers and Hawkeyes annual Black Friday showdown.
Meeting with the media yesterday, NU coach Matt Rhule was asked if securing a bowl game with a win was a motivating factor. “I know they want to win,” Rhule said of his players. “They’re sitting here, it’s senior day, a lot of these guys it’s their last game in the stadium. They’re playing a ranked team with a chance to go to a bowl game. If they lack any motivation, it’s all there for them. I’ve seen this group do nothing but fight every week all year.”
Friday’s kickoff is set for 11 a.m. The pregame starts at 7 a.m. on News Talk 900 KJSK and at 10:30 a.m. on 93.5 The Hawk.
