Nebraska head football coach Matt Rhule has assembled part of his staff with the hiring of six coaches today.
Marcus Satterfield is the Huskers’ offensive coordinator after filling the same position at South Carolina the past two seasons. EJ Barthel is NU’s running backs coach, which is the same position he held at UConn last season. The other coaching hires include defensive line coach Terrance Knighton, defensive secondary coach Evan Cooper, special teams coordinator Ed Foley and strength and conditioning coach Corey Campbell.
In the news release on the coaches, Rhule said: “This group of coaches will be great representatives of the University of Nebraska and are ready to play a key role in building our program.” He added: “This is a group that will relate well to prospective student-athletes from all parts of the country and sell Nebraska Football.”
