Nebraska football coach Scott Frost met with reporters from the Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star yesterday and gave them an update on how the program is dealing with COVID-19.

The newspapers report that Frost said about 250 athletes and staff members have been tested for the coronavirus since April.  There have been eight positive tests, including five football players and one staff member. Two athletes compete in other sports.

Frost also told the reporters he expects quarterback Adrian Martinez to have a better season this year, partly due to having more competition from redshirt freshman QB Luke McCaffrey.
