Prep Wrestling Recap From Friday and Saturday

In prep wrestling, Scotus tied for fifth place while Aquinas won Saturday’s Centennial Conference tournament at GICC. 

The Shamrocks’ Kobie Micek won a gold medal and the Monarchs had four first-place finishers. 

On Friday, Columbus earned fourth place at the UNK Midwest Duals as the Discoverers went 3-2. 

Also Friday, Lakeview’s boys wrestlers won the Madison Invite.  Owen Bargen, Yordi Dominguez and Landon Ternus won gold medals. 

And the Lakeview girls took second at Friday’s Neligh-Oakdale Invite.  Callie Held, Lacy Lemburg and Morgan Finecy posted first-place finishes.
